About the K53 Learner's Test
Test structure: 68 questions total — Road Rules (30), Road Signs (30), Vehicle Controls (8).
Pass mark: 77% in each section individually. Scores are NOT averaged.
Format: Computer-based multiple choice at any SA traffic department (DLTC).
Cost: Approximately R78. Bring your SA ID, 2 passport photos, eye test certificate, and proof of address.
Time: ~60 minutes for all 3 sections.
Languages: Available in all 11 official SA languages.
